December.....has come & gone

December is such a busy month.  This month was particularly busy for us due to I had my work Christmas trip, a quick trip to Disney & then Christmas.

Why on earth would we schedule a trip to Disney the weekend before Christmas??  Because we are nuts.....but actually it was great for a few reasons.  The weather was perfect (think shorts), the crowd was manageable & the Christmas lights and decorations were amazing.

We are super thankful to my parents for buying our Disney tickets for Christmas! Big thank you!!

We were also very glad for Kendra & Josh to come with us.  Not only did they know of plenty of things for us to take Carson to see.....they were such a huge help with Carson.  I think Daniel & I would have been super worn out if they had not been with us.

We were there about 2 1/2 days which I think was just enough time with a 3 year old.  The first night we went to Downtown Disney & ate at Rainforest Cafe.  Carson loved it there.  The next day we went to the Magic Kingdom & Epcot.  The last day we went to Hollywood Studios and back to Magic Kingdom.  Carson is already asking when we'll go back!

Carson's 1st Georgia game

Back in September I decided on the morning of that Carson & I would join Mandy & Riley to the GA/Coastal Carolina game. This was a great game to take the girls to because it was not very crowded at all.....and they were playing a not so great team. We had the best time!! The girls were so well behaved and loved watching the game. I was amazed that they were so into it. It was so much fun to walk through campus & show Carson that this where Daddy went to school. Even got to show her the bell... She wanted to ring it but we'll have to do that when we go back with Daddy. So many memories come flooding back when I go back there...can't wait to back!!

We took a trip to California....

We went to California over Labor Day & it was amazing!! My sweet parents treated us to this trip and we will be forever grateful. I was a little worried about this being Carson's 1st plane ride but she did awesome!!

The plane was great because we each had our own television screen. Carson was able to watch children's stuff which entertained her for most of the trip. Also Cooper was with us on the way out there and that was a BIG help.

We stayed in a hotel right next door to my parents condo and that was perfect. Very easy to walk over to their place when we were ready for our outings.

We did so many things on this trip.....Ventura, farmers market, Beverly Hills, Ojai, LA, Malibu Chili cook off, meeting my parents friends, going to see the 92 year old singer:), Santa Monica, best outlet mall ever, oh, & we even saw Tori Spelling and her cute family...... the list goes on & on!!

Yep, it was the trip of a life time!!! Thank you Mom & Dad!! We are so thankful and blesses to have been able to come out & see where you live. We can see why y'all love it. We love y'all!!

We love Fall Ya'll

Oh, how I do love Fall!! Weather is great, lovely to be outside and the holidays are right around the corner.

Some photos from today:)

Oh dear!! We are in trouble when she's 15!! Btw...her nickname is Diva:)

She is now in a good mood!

Today was Brianna's bday party. Carson had so much fun celebrating,

These two blond hair, blue eyed beauties are trouble! Both are sweet as pie and full of attitude!
Brianna is Carson's favorite friend at school. They both communicate extremely well & I get their cute friendship.

My Cup Runneth Over

We had Carson's 3rd bday today and every time I saw her smiling face I thought of one my favorite lines from a favorite movie....Hope Floats. My Cup Runneth Over was the recurring quote.....This parenthood thing is a crazy emotional journey....many, many highs.... & I wouldn't say lows....I would say valleys:)

The day was filled with laughter, bright sun, playing and just celebrating Carson. I totally know that I am biased but she was a dream child. She smiled through many people singing her happy birthday (even though she doesn't love all eyes being on her) & let others help her open her gifts. She just kind of rolled with the day & we are very thankful!
